TGIF?
I’ve been attending Ludus Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays since coming back from our holiday (and I haven’t been that regular in my attendance – tut tut).
This week I’ve been every day because it’s much easier for me to get out of bed to do some form of exercise with other people who think stupid o’clock is normal. I’ve really struggled just getting up to walk and since I’m off season and figure I might as well do what I “enjoy”.
The only downside I have found is that I keep thinking it’s Friday because I do Ludus on a Friday .. makes for one long week 😉
This morning when I walked into the Arena I had a look at the board to see what was in store I cringed when I saw a list of exercises then this …
And yes Phil had actually drawn a smiley face. I knew in my heart what that simple line meant but I was hoping like hell I was wrong especially when one of the six exercises was burpees but alas it was true 6 exercises x 100 reps to make the 600, it was going to be a hard slog!
Oh and I started with the burpees because I like to start with the hardest exercises .. try and get them out of the way. Since some of you have asked for more in depth info on the workouts I do I will give quick run down.
OBJECTIVE – 6 exercises of 100 reps each to make up 600 reps.
EXERCISES – Lateral Tyre Jumps, Burpees, Kettle Bell Swings, Roman Pushups, Ball Smash, Bag Squats.
PROCESS – One minute per exercise, 20 secs rest in between.
After about four circuits I was left with just the burpees to finish .. typical. I did it though, all 100 of them. Yeah Baby!
Oh and we all know I do not love the burpees (or bastards as some of you like to call them) but I do LOVE it when I have done them all.
In other news Miss Jo can’t take me for training for the rest of the week (I usually see her 3x pw) which leaves me in a quandry. I know I should go to the gym and do my weights but I honestly can’t be arsed … has anyone out in blog land found a nice young man for me to train with yet? 😉 *sigh* I hope I find my motivation to lift weights soon … can’t be much of a bodybuilder if I don’t actually lift any weights!
Right .. lets move onto more pleasant things. Some of you are enjoying trying to guess who the Wolf is going to be on Wednesday so I’ll end each day with a sneaky perve I mean peek.
