Show Q&A
It’s Friday. This time last week I was carbing up and both scared and excited about standing in six inch heels and a sparkly bikini the next day. It seems like an entire lifetime ago yet in fact its only been days!
I’ve finally settled back into a routine. You know the drill, get up at stupid o’clock, move arse to burn some calories, go to work, finish work, do more cardio, train, pack bags, hug kids etc etc and since I’m settled I thought I would answer some of the questions that have come in about the competition.
Thanks! I loved it too .. from the moment I unwrapped it 🙂 I have some friends in Canada who compete and they were discussing how they got their bikinis from Etsy (which is the US version of Felt) basically it’s people selling crafts online.
I had a look at Saleya’s “shop” and purchased it from her Etsy store. She now has her own , the prices are higher now, but her workmanship is A M A Z I N G and I got my custom made bikini in less than two weeks.
I love the glamour of figure and the A M A Z I N G bikinis you get to wear but on the other hand I like the way you don’t have to wear shoes in bodybuilding 😉
Honestly I enjoy them both which is good because I want to do whatever category I fit into the best in each federation. For example – I’m too small to do bodybuilding in the NABBA/WFF federation, but I’m probably a little big to do figure in NABBA. As long as I look like I fit into the line up on the day, it doesn’t really matter to me what line up I am in we all train equally hard to be there on the day.
It’s a busy agenda!
First and foremost I’m trying to get my arse smaller so I am training with Miss Jo every week day till my next show (yep, that’s right people everyday I’m putting everything I have into getting a smaller arse!).
This weekend I am taking my BFF to the Katy Perry concert for her birthday pressie. Next weekend I am doing a fitness oriented photo shoot (another one of my 11 things to do in 2011) and then the following weekend I compete in the NABBA Auckland Champs on the Saturday and fly out to the US/UK on the Sunday!
I told you it was a busy agenda 😉
Tomorrow its leg day .. unfortunately I’m still hobbling around after Miss Jo’s beating training session .. so leg day is going to be interesting to say the least.
Till next time
