Wrap It Up

Its 5pm Sunday afternoon and Ive got about 40 minutes before I head into the gym to do biceps and abs, but before you mutter “stupid woman training on a Sunday evening” the real reason I go in is for my treat of the week which is a lovely sauna!

This week has been good.  The bikini or bust girls all thought up goals that we would like to achieve in the near future, after some thought Ive decided that one of mine will be to complete 10 wide grip pullups from a dead hang.  Secretly this has been a long time goal of mine, but stating it in black and white seems to give me some extra resolve to actually do something about it.

Anyway, yesterday morning before Lavinia and I started our workout, I got her to film me trying to do some pullups so I have a “starting point”

The next thing is to try and figure out how I’m going to do more … get stronger?  Get lighter?  Just do more pullups? .. Will keep you informed on how things are progressing.

Training has been great, food has been so so and rest is well .. rest is as much rest as a Mum of two toddlers gets (not much) 😉

So its 17 weeks till the Grand Prix in Melbourne.  Lavinia and I have started fundraising to help fund the trip across the Tasman … although they still need to confirm us kiwis can go!  If not we will find a comp in Auckland around about the same time and keep fundraising till June and go to the INBA comp in June .. so we will be Oz bound 2012!  (we just arent sure of the state yet lol)
