Week one, nearly done.

Week one, nearly done.  Just arms to do this afternoon after work and my second session of cardio this evening after dinner.

All in all its been a pretty good week.  I was slow to get back into my full contest prep mode, but by Wednesday I had things down pat.

So my week looked something like this.

Sat Sun Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri
Morning Cardio Cardio Cardio Cardio Cardio
Afternoon Chest Back Legs Shoulders
Night Cardio Cardio Cardio Cardio Cardio Cardio

The two empty spaces in Friday will be completed after work.

This morning I set my alarm 10 minutes earlier than I have been.  At the moment, Im just sleeping in a little later than I normally do, then doing my workout, then showering and skipping the dry my hair part of the routine so I can start work on time .. but I hate having wet hair, so Im slowing working my way back to getting up earlier lol

Cardio this morning was a walk around Parnell .. was a lovely morning too … crisp but not cold.

Looking across to the city on a lovely early morning

It’s a long weekend here in Auckland this weekend, so I guess the weather will pack up as soon as my work day ends sigh I really want to cross another one of my 11 things to do in 2011 off the list this weekend and I had my eyes set on Tree Adventures, so fingers crossed it stays fine.

Last night the weather was just beautiful!  On my evening cardio session I took Elias out for a walk (man he is heavy!) for those of you who feel like you need to “ramp up” your workouts, feel free to call into mine and borrow him anytime .. (and I could do with some peace and quiet in the house) lol.

Now I actually know how a horse feels .. Elias kicks my sides to make me go faster!

Unfortunately I cant get my measurements checked tomorrow as my lovely Miss Jo (trainer extraordinaire) is hosting a sleepover for her sons friends, but hopefully I can get them done at some stage over this long weekend .. so will keep you posted.  I will still take photos tomorrow and do a weight check.  I suppose I cant expect much from one week of comp training, but there might be something that looks tighter by now 😉

Till next time
