Disclaimer .. James told me to do the “ganster fingers”, I am not actually giving you all the “fingers” 😉

As you have probably figured out, I am now two weeks out from show day.  I saw yesterday that they had another big aftershock in Christchurch on Saturday too!  I’ve been trying not to think about quakes and aftershocks, but I have to admit the news hit close to home this time around since I will be there in two weeks!  But I’m going to put my head in the sand and deal with it when/if it happens while I am there.

After being sick on Thursday I thought Fridays training would be lack lustre, but I’m pleased to say it wasn’t!  Although it was chest and mine is pretty strong so I guess if there is a body part for me to train while feeling not so great, chest would be the one.  Saturdays leg session was FANTASTIC I even did some pb’s which is awesome for someone so close to show day (and who hates training legs).

Chest day went surprisingly well

So the weekend came and went and it has now been five days since I have trained at my beloved Ludus .. bring on Tuesday!  I really miss it and it is kind of strange how empty the day seems without it, but as my friend Donloree said “Ludus is forever, competition prep is not”  I have been filling in my time though .. I’ve got some “balls in the air” so to speak, so its plan plan plan and plan some more.  Can’t wait to share it all with you, but for now as Dave Hartnell used to say “My lips are sealed”

Right onto photo time .. two weeks out looks like this;

Till next time
