Three!
Repeat after me .. three!
Many weeks down (well 9 to be exact), three more to go!
It’s been another busy weekend in the Nash household. Saturday morning I completed the last race in the Contact tri series which if you haven’t already, you can read about HERE.
Saturday afternoon while the kids were down for their naps I did a bit of shopping in preparation for my upcoming competition. I needed some bling and the blingier the better. I also wanted to find something to wear post comp, obviously something that would show off my figure, but allow me to eat burger (which is harder than it sounds to find) 😉
Sunday I was up at stupid o’clock (thanks to Elias) so I made the best of a bad situation, dressed him up like an eskimo and hit the road for my cardio, at least that way it was done. As it was stupid o’clock, it was still dark. Elias found it quite intriguing but by the time we were half way round the circuit I usually take the sun was up and we got home just in time for breakfast, which is my favorite meal of the day! 🙂
Sunday afternoon I spent finishing off my routine choreography for my upcoming show. I managed to get it all done which is awesome, so now I just have to practice, practice, practice.
Since I was at the gym with James (aka cameraman) and there happens to be a pull up bar there, I thought I would give my 11 of 2011 challenge to do 11 pullups a go. You can see the “official post” HERE. The funny thing about that post is I actually did the challenge as soon as I arrived at the gym, but James only got the last half on film. I just about burst into tears! The clip you see in the post is take two, which was filmed after I had done my routine, thank goodness it ended well. 😉
So .. three weeks looks like this;
Week three brings Ludus, evening power walks, weight training, Miss Jo and calipers. Miss Jo has been really sick, so its been over a week since I’ve seen her, but on a positive note she is going to Christchurch to represent her sponsor on a stall at my show, so she will be there on show day .. the show gods are smiling on me that’s for sure!
