TAPERING (AGAIN)

Week 17/37 – Road to Routeburn

So, last week was recovery week from my first half marathon – this week was yet another low mileage week because I’m now tapering for my next half marathon in early December.

Seems weird to only have three scheduled runs with no significant mileage, but I just follow directions and trust the process .. coach hasn’t steered me wrong yet!

Although she did get me to do a WOD of 100 reps of squats, lunges, step ups, push ups and crunches which has meant I’ve spent the majority of the week unable to walk .. lolol

On a positive note – the legs seemed to like running far more than walking.

Next week we go back to four run sessions .. my world order shall be restored. 😉
