Failure had to come – Week 7

It had to happen sooner or later .. last week I set these goals;

  1. Do at least one 5km road run.
  2. Do two run sessions on the treadmill of at least 30 minutes each session.
  3. Fix my stripper heels.

I did 1.5 out of three .. damn it!  I fell off the horse last week, so I best get back up and give it another go!  Oh and I guess you are wondering how I did 1.5 out of 3.0, well I bought the glue to fix my shoes .. but I couldn’t get the glue to come out of the bottle, so I got half way there.

So this weeks goals will be short and sweet

  1. Fix my stripper heels
  2. Do at least one road run of 5ks.


Take Two!

After the two hard Ludus sessions Saturday and Sunday, I am bruised, battered and sore .. but like any good spartan I turned up this morning to give another go.  We boxed jumped again today, but there was no way I was going anywhere near the box that bit me yesterday!  I’ll jump on “her” head (I see it as a “fight I must win”) when I’ve got a few more carbs on board .. or some sleep.  “She” better watch out for me off season though .. I’ll be all over “her” 😉


The box may have one this round .. but I'm a fighter 🙂

Oh and I forgot to share .. On our drive home from Ludus on Sunday James looked over at me and said “Darling, do realise how fit you are now?  I’m just blown away by how fast Ludus has transformed you into a machine!”

Awww … the boy has a big squishy heart to match his big broad shoulders (that I tend to cry on when I get closer to comp and more carb deprived) 😉

So seven weeks out looks a little something like this …


Next week .. will be the half way point!
