The 1st of the month usually heralds new goals, new plans, hope for a better month than the last and all that jazz ..
This month I thought it would be a good idea to set the FBs a challenge that would keep them moving (because thats kind of important when you are training for a half marathon) and accountable to themselves, each other and now all of you in the blog land.
The plan is to move 100 kilometers in the month of May. This breaks down to 22.6 kilometers per week or 3.2 kilometers per day which for most of the fit bitches is a step up from what they are currently doing.
Our challenge allows “other exercise” to be used as credits towards the kilometres. So 15 minutes of planned exercise (boxing, swimming, ludus) will count as 1 kilometre that is for everyone bar me .. because unfortunately I actually need to run to prepare for this marathon. If I could just do Ludus I would .. believe me 😉
We also need an updated group shot because the lovely (and fit) Clare has joined our ranks! So if you need something to get you moving why don’t you consider giving it a go too.
Day one isn’t even half over yet and already Osovale has logged 4ks! I’m still fighting with my inner lazy 😉
