PB

Because I’m new to multi sport training every day seems to bring about a new PB (and that stands for personal best, not peanut butter) 😉

Yesterday I ran the longest distance so far in my entire life and I backed that up with the longest swim (in both time and distance). This morning another PB with the longest distance I’ve done out on the bike, although that was technically because I got a teeny tiny bit lost, how that happens on a straight out and back course with only a wee loop to get you back to the straight I have no idea – but I managed it.

I wasn’t too worried because I had my phone with me AND I had the run keeper app going, so I could have checked the map and if it got really bad I could always phone someone to come and find me 😉

Oh and a huge thank you goes out to the weather god/fairy/person because it didn’t rain at all this morning UNTIL I was showered and dressed for work .. 🙂

I’m slowly getting into the swing of things and I’m really excited to be trying something new and outside of my comfort zone.

Next week I start working with my swim coach, thank goodness! If you get tired in the run you have the option of walking, in swimming you either swim or you drown, I’d prefer not to drown.

What I do want to do is finish with a smile, just like Annie Sakamoto that woman is always smiling!

I <3 Annie …

And damn that woman is strong even though she is teeny teeny tiny!   This is yet another example of good things coming in small packages.

Till next time
