Usually when I talk about having 12 weeks I am discussing starting prep for an upcoming competition, but not this time … there are 12 weeks till the jolly fat man delivers good will and all that jazz.
Christmas people .. 12 weeks till Christmas!
In the Southern Hemisphere that also means summer. Summer = sunshine (well hopefully) which = beach and for those of us who have prepared well enough the beach = bikini (for the girls) and no shirts (for the boys).
So if like me you could use some help getting ready for the beach this summer my amazing friend Donloree of Bikini or Bust has thought of fun way to get us to get fit in time for Christmas.
It’s kind of the fitness version of the 12 days of Christmas (although Donloree has made it “easier” by giving you weeks rather than days to get ready) 😉
The idea is that each Monday she will post some form of exercise that you will do for that week you can then post pictures and comments on Twitter with the hastag, #fitmas or on the Bikini Or Bust Facebook page. You could write blog posts about it, or email her.
Should be fun ..
On the subject of beach bodies lets move onto
My James went down to the stadium the English Rugby team were training at and managed to get some photos with the players.
Not being “up to speed” with the English team I had to ask Mr Google for some help .. imagine my pleasure when I found that the person above looks like this under that shirt …
Hello James Haskell!
It certainly made watching the English Rugby team more exciting that I thought it would have been. (Although they actually played like crap – and don’t get me started on Johnnie Wilkinson) but I digress, back to the serious business of oogling.
And for those of you who are wondering no my James hasn’t shrunk 😉
James Haskell is 194cm (6 foot 11) and 111 kgs (17.5 stone) so he has about 11 inches and 21 kgs on my James .. he is a big boy!
Lets have one more for the road …
If you want your significant other to look like that .. direct him to Donloree’s website and get him started on Fitmas.
The first weeks activity is HERE
Till next time
