Where to from here

Yesterday afternoon my bikini arrived from bodybuildingbikinis.com.  I tried it on last night and it was truly love at first sight .. its simply perfect in every way, it even makes my butt look small! *shock horror*

Thankfully it didn’t make me regret my decision to forgo competing this year, it just actually made me excited about the future.

I'm not sure I can compete with Jo Lo's butt though!

So apart from hours and hours at the hospital what do I have to look forward to in the near future?

The Ballet!

James and I have a date!  Who would have thought it!  I had asked Lavinia if she wanted to go to see the ballet with me because we didn’t have anyone to babysit for us, her answer?  “I will look after them, you go with James”.  Love her.  So we are going to see the Complexions Contemporary Ballet from New York perform on Saturday night.

The Family Get Together

My Dad is the youngest of 13 (give or take) and he was sent to Auckland as a young boy to go to boarding school.  On weekends he would go and live with his brother (my Uncle Bill).  Whenever we have family get togethers, it is usually my family and Uncle Bills family, so before Dad goes back into hospital he has “ordered” a family get together to discuss his wishes – kind of morbid, but necessary.

I am having my hair done!  I timed it so it would be in tip top shape for my show.  Even though there is no show to do .. I am counting down the seconds to my hair appointment.  This mop on my head that laughingly calls itself hair is driving me crazy!

So its not all doom and gloom by any stretch of the imagination.

Looking forward tomorrow mornings cardio session.  I’m “making” Lavinia walk up Zoo Hill (Old Mill Road, Pt Chev) 5 times, she isn’t looking forward to it … I am 😉
