Quite a few people I know have a goal to jump on the biggest box at Ludus (I am not one of those people).
Others (mostly girls) have the goal to be able to do pullups or a certain number of “boy” pushups in a row
My goal for 2011 was to do 11 pullups straight. Got that one sorted and the only pushup I haven’t yet mastered is the one arm, actually make that two pushup variations I haven’t mastered, the one arm AND the one arm and one leg (both incidentally Brooke can do – so she’s in the process of teaching me) 😉
BUT it doesn’t mean I don’t have a list of things that I do aspire too – it’s actually quite the sizeable list!
There are the things on the “that would be quite handy list” for example being able to jump up the bars at Ludus and there is the that would be pretty cool list which includes things like the ninja tuck jump
AND then there are the things on the “Man oh Man that would be cool to be able to do” list and that’s the list I’m going to start working on! On this “exclusive” or should that be “elusive” list is
- Muscle Up (Rings)
- Flag hold
There are other things, but those are the biggies. I’m starting with the lever I found a great tuition video so with some work I’ll be in “Greg’s Gang” in no time although since I can’t jump up to the bar they may veto my joining. Lucky I’ve got my girls .. they love me even though I can’t reach the bar 😉
Speaking of my girls lets watch today’s burpee challenge clip – I have a hot new host of the “show”
Oh and I saw Brooke practicing her backflip burpees this morning – I want to be her when I grow up – minus the flipping upside down part!
